The 2020 GORO GGT4 season started with a blast, with 2019 Champion Alexander Erhart taking the victory at Dragon Trail Gardens and Starstcream Enterprises taking a commanding 1-2-3 victory.
The German took home the checkered flag at the Pre-Season Race in the Global GT4 Championship at Dragon Trail Gardens. In a thrilling fight between Erhart and the second place finishing car of Mike Bearpark, it was cleared the German was the better driver in the race. Frederick Byloos would make it a Starscream Enterprises sweep of the podium as he would come home for third after suffering damage at the start of the race after colliding with another car after the drop of the green flag, but clawed his way back up a a good solid finish.
Nicholas Ogrady would make a hard charge to earn a fourth place finish as the pole sitter got damage from his Ferrari 458 GT4 at the start of the race as well dropping down to twelfth place on lap one but drove his car all out to earn a top 5 finish. He was also named the Driver of the Day after a vote made by the drivers. Nicholas Cook would impress his debut with the new team as he grabbed a fifth place finish with the driver having a fierce battle with the Ferrari of Alexander Heinen for the final spot on the top 5 grid.
The Pre-Season Race for the GORO GGT4 will be this Saturday as a ever growing entry list will determine our Top 16 drivers who will be eligible for competition in a tense fight for a win.
